R.e.m

I can't stop listening to this album. And then I mean literally, I have it on the whole evening now and just can't stop. It's a great album indeed, my only R.E.M really. I was kinda curious about more of their albums as good as this one?

Get anything before Automatic, this includes Green, Eponymous (best of) as well as various others that aren't that popular because they were released so early in the career. I would forget about anything post-Monster except for the Man on the Moon soundtrack.

Re: R.e.m

Yeah, AFTP is an astounding album. It is quite possibly the most listened to album in my collection. I'd say that you should get "Green" next, then maybe get "Out of Time" or "Reconstruction of the Fables". If you're feeling a bit adventurous, go for "Monster" or "New Adventures In Hi-Fi" (horribly underrated). But they're a bit "different" from the earlier R.E.M. sound.

You're right, but I read something about how the band intended the name to have both meanings (because of the album's concept); they had difficulty deciding which one to actually put on the album. So, I guess I got confused.
