Does anyone know what David Gilmoure says after finishing Eclipse and before beggining WYWH in the PULSE VHS?? Something about Roger, but I can;t understand what he says.
Anyone?

I haven't watched in a couple of months, but I believe he's saying something along the lines of "Thanks to our good friend Roger" or something like that.

it goes something like this: "many thanks to ?our/my? old friend roger, whose words i have the pleasure of singing, thanks your very much good evening"
i may have got a word or 2 wrong but that is roughly wat he says.

I'm sure that he says something to the effect of "And thanks to Roger for the wonderful words" or something along those lines. I do have it, but haven't watched the thing in about 7 years or so.

is it the same on the cd as on the vhs cuz i have the cd and ill check if its on there too but im too lazy to waste my time if its not but if it is, tell me and ill see if i can decifer it

Along the same lines as that. Has anyone ever noticed what Mr. Waters says after he sings "WYWH" on his "In the Flesh" live album? He says, "Thank you. How we wish they were here." Hmmmm??? And just who might "they" be? I've checked everywhere for answers to this but have found none. Does anyone have a clue? It gave me chills when I heard it the first time. It was so... not Roger. (At least the Roger we all read about in books and magazines.) Anywho...
