I'm moving this to the rumour mill until there's official confirmation.

I appreciate the new, but man.... i cannot think of anything as bad as Darkside without Gilmour... He needs to stop being a butt and rejoin with Roger, if only just to play Darkside with the original lineup. They say they do not need the money.... Take the 150 million and give it to charity... C'mon Dave... Please!!!!

The thing is, David has left Pink Floyd. He doesn't want the hassle of being attached to his old band anymore - whereas Nick and Roger would be only too happy to tour again under the Floyd banner. If Roger hadn't given up on the rights to the band name in 1987, they would probably continue without Dave.

I think Nick and Roger probably do have the most drive to have a concert under the PF name again, but for even them a tour is not attractive. I don't see any of them being interested in that. At this point in the game, the PF is a monster. Not something 60 odd year old men want to carry around.

I know Nick said during one of his book signings that he would love to have another tour, because of today's techology and stuff would make for a great show. But thats with a Gilmour, Wright and Mason lineup. To put Waters back in the lineup, turns him off; for the simple reason a GWM lineup is a Floyd tour and a GWM and Waters tour, is a Floyd finale. Nails in the coffin and the whole bit. I think all 4 members feel that way. How would the Floyd do their last waltz?

What a mess it would be. First a concert, that turns into three. Then a Europe tour, American tour, then World Tour. What a frenzy.

Wrong. Nick said recently that they just need "a nod" from Gilmour, and the tour would start immediately.
Too bad David is more interested in raising children at the moment.

well i was reading up on the subject & what i got from the info is that 'there will be a strong possiabilty that rog will do a US tour on DSOTM....the only problem is that nick will only be in one show & do one song with rog'.....
if he does do a US tour i extreamly want him to come to florida or something...i couldn't see dave.... ....& i wana see rog so bad!!!

I have heard from tons of sites that Roger will have a North America tour i think fall 2006 and i heard Nick will only play one show and a few songs i think like half of it or maybe it was 1 song but i know if he is coming to florida i am sure to go.
