Need Your Help! Identify these songs/band!

I think they are called "Quartango"

Anybody hear of this band?

I can't get my hands on any of their work. I know Amazon lists three albums by them --- but the one I want is NOT among that list. I'm told they are from Montreal/Canada.

Hey folks!

Here's the file clips. Most are 30 seconds to almost a full miute long. I've clipped them from some songs that I have. I hope someone here has heard of 'em. If you can't communicate on the boards, please DON'T hesitate to send me a Private Message (PM)

Much appreciated!

Track 1 WMA Format. Size = 360 KB

Track 2 WMA format. Size = 377 KB

Track 3 WMA format. Size = 421 KB

Track 4 is in two parts

Track 4-1 WMA format. Size = 348 KB
Track 4-2 WMA format. Size = 424 KB

Please donot think that the track numbers I have listed mean anything - they could be in complete random order as far as I know!

Oh and can anyone tell me what language it is in?

Thanks again!

cheers,
:wavey:

Re: Need Your Help! Identify these songs/band!

those links don't work Simon...

but I do know the band, they are indeed from Montreal. They made 5 albums. Of all the songs I heard, only one of them had lyrics and they are in French but many songs titles are in another language...

I cam give you their official website, it's in French so I don't know if it could be of any use for you Quartango

but hey, if you want me to translate some of the stuff on the site, don't hesitate to ask me!
