| Re: On This Day Nov 5, 1906 The US Military officially adapted the .30-06 cartridge, (known affectionately as the "ought-six") which over the past century has played a role in WWI, WWII, the Korean War and has taken more big game than any other cartridge. Happy 100th birthday, O great one!
