OK,everybody knows Roxy Music blah blah...but i didnt come across anyone discussing Brian Eno-the ever moving forward and evovling musician and gadget freindly artist. Some of his mindspeaks are quite insightly comments over the Electronic music and Internet.
Anybody else who likes his solo works?
Some of these are examples of his works ;one being the startup sound for Windows 95,SSEYO-koan vector music mail.

He reportedly has a passion for word games. A song on his album Before and After Science is entitled "King's Lead Hat", which is an anagram of "Talking Heads", a band that he has worked with. (His own name, "Brian Eno", is an anagram of "One Brain".)

I have Before and After Science which is excellent, I also like his work with Bowie. But the best Roxy Music album by far is the first they did without him, Stranded. Interesting fact is that Roxy Music is releasing a new album the first since more than 20 years, Brian Eno will also be on it who was only on their first two albums. Can't wait.

Brian Eno. One of the unsung magicians of the multi-genre attack. Surely there's a torrent out there that features some of his stuff? I've tried two pissy DL sites without so much as a snifter.

Africa and Eno. Africa and Gabriel. Africa and Wobble. Africa and Paul Simon. Africa's been there a long time, so it seems fit that the whitefellas would eventually get around to acknowledging the massive legacy of that most musical of continents. In the beginning, there was the rhythm. Then God said, Let there be Light... Let there be Sound... Drums... Guitar.. WAAGH LET THERE BE ROCK! (Scott/Young 1979)

Well said...in the end everybody get to pay their dues...Didn't late Freddy Mercury stutter in one of Queen's song in which he names the band members and also says "Brian Eno"???(may be i imagined that...but i think he did say...Brian May....Brian Eno)
He made one of the best production on the Bowie trilogy;and a one sleeper of an album;Bowie's "Nathan Adler Diaries:Segue 1".
