Dark Side of the Moon essay, need help
im wondering if anyone has any info on "the dark side of the moon" like how they recorded each song and each instrament and how they mixed everything. I need this info for a 3 page essay due tomorow. I might hand it in late so any info at any time would be much appreciated, thanks.

On this classic rock station i listening to hadthis count down dsotm was number one so they had like how each song was made i frogot them. What i remember is they made a circle of those cash things ( a huge circe) and that is how they have *Ripping* type of sound thru out the whole song but thats all i know.

It's called a tape loop.

Check out this essay by Alan Parsons, the album's recording engineer. But don't rip him off! Remember to cite your sources, sonny.

There's this great Song-by-song breakdown on how the whole album was done in this great Mojo mag's issue;called "The 1st men on the moon" in two parts.You can read Part 1 here and part 2 here.or go to http://www.rogerwaters.org/ or the Reg-roger waters international fanclub's site under "Best Of Articles/Archives issues 11-20 & 21-30".
Of course you need to cite the source.
