I've read a question on another Floyd site lately and that was: Who do you think, Mr. Pink Floyd is? And I'd be interested in, what do you think: who was the member of Floyd who worked the most for the band and did the greatest things there?

And by the way, have you planned it to see Roger live in 2002?

Not Syd, not Roger, not Rick, not Nick ,not Dave.
Yeah, Roger was the ideologic force of the band. But Roger = Mr. Pink Floyd?
I don't think so. Dave was the prime musical force (except tfc and early works), but how would pf sound like without rick or even nick?
As i think, the tension and power of their music don't depend only on their abilities of writing lyrics(Roger) or composing songs(Dave). I think the tension between the band members are a main factor what makes their (70s) works so "out of this world".

"There is no Mr. Pink Floyd"...as a matter of fact, they're ALL Floyd. (Hihi, Bride of a bull..)

Cheers,
Der Sülli.

Pink Floyd isn't just one person. The sum of all the qualities and abilities of its members brought the musical and lyrical quality of the group.

I agree with the last two posts. David was the musical force and fog was the lyrical force. David is my favorite floydian though, because the music means more to me than the lyrics and his great guitar playing, not to mention his voice
