Not Syd, not Roger, not Rick, not Nick ,not Dave. Yeah, Roger was the ideologic force of the band. But Roger = Mr. Pink Floyd? I don't think so. Dave was the prime musical force (except tfc and early works), but how would pf sound like without rick or even nick? As i think, the tension and power of their music don't depend only on their abilities of writing lyrics(Roger) or composing songs(Dave). I think the tension between the band members are a main factor what makes their (70s) works so "out of this world". "There is no Mr. Pink Floyd"...as a matter of fact, they're ALL Floyd. (Hihi, Bride of a bull..)Cheers, Der Sülli. _________________ it's like saying give a man a les paul guitar and he becomes eric clapton...

Pink Floyd isn't just one person. The sum of all the qualities and abilities of its members brought the musical and lyrical quality of the group.

I agree with the last two posts. David was the musical force and fog was the lyrical force. David is my favorite floydian though, because the music means more to me than the lyrics and his great guitar playing, not to mention his voice ![]() _________________ I was in the kitchen Seamus, that's the dog, was outside
