APFFN Lyric Section

Hello all,

Been a while since I posted last. I know you all missed me, but wipe away your tears. I've been off planning my future as Spoon Moon. You're in for it.

Anways, I was looking up some Floyd lyrics the other day and thought, ahh, why not go to "our" site and get them from there. Afterall, they should be the most accurate and complete.

I was disappointed to see that on such albums such as DSOTM, the dialogue and other small tidbits were missing. I guess the point of this thread is, that I think adding the background noises and dialogue that the Floyd used so often, would really add and be beneficial to the lyric section. Afterall, how many threads have been started around here asking "hey what does roger say in the middle of so and so song..." We could easily direct them to our superior lyric section where all of his questions could be answered. I realize adding this stuff would be no small task, but I would suggest starting out with DSOTM, Wall, WYWH, Animals and such...and then go from there.

There are other sites on the web that provide this service. But I think it's only natural, being the leading authority on all things Pink Floyd, that we would provide complete lyrics.

Thanks for the consideration,

~Fletch

Re: APFFN Lyric Section

Not really a complaint. Merely a suggestion.

My beautiful red balloon is just fine!

Up up and away!

Hehe.

I'm sure I've seen a site with completely accurate transcripts of PF song dialogue, but I can't find it now.

Hey Fletch..

I'm suprised your still pushing around in the ole' red balloon.. I figgured you'd be in a shiny new 2005 silver convertable balloon already.

I've actually been working on a GIANT lyrics book with all the small tid bits and back ground dialoge added along with a who-sings-what next to the lyrics, I'd be more than happy to post it once I am done

Re: APFFN Lyric Section

I've been slowly working through some revisions to the lyrics (and album info) pages. The problem is, only 10000 characters or something are permitted per album - plus, there might be some things that should be left for people to interpret for themselves.

Re: APFFN Lyric Section

I'm working on updating the "who sings what" portion of the album information pages, possibly with references to those specific threads...

Re: APFFN Lyric Section

Paulo would have to make a new thread for that one. I'll see what I can do...
