Roger Waters, 2005 Discuss · Lyrics · Discover · Reviews & Purchase Release date: September 26th, 2005 Ça Ira/There Is Hope is a classical opera in three acts, which concerns the French Revolution. Roger Waters adapted the original French libretto by Étienne and Nadine Roda-Gil into English. He also composed all of the music, orchestrating and producing a double-CD recording with the help of Rick Wentworth.
A three-disc deluxe set was also made available, featuring hybrid SACD 5.1 surround sound, more of Nadine's beautiful illustrations in the libretto booklet and a making-of DVD directed by Live at Pompeii's visionary Adrian Maben.
