| Favourite deep purple incarnation I personally feel mark 8 is actually the best despite this being a highly non conventional view, morse has perhaps become better in later albums such as rapture of the deep. |

| Re: Favourite deep purple incarnation Yes your getting the right idea. Lets highjack the site and turn into a deep purple forum just for a week or so and see what happens after that and see if people still want to go back to floyd. Imagine how much that would piss off the moderators hehe |

| Re: Favourite deep purple incarnation I like the current incarnation best - old favourites like "Down In It" and "Gave Up" have never sounded tougher, and the new songs like "Non-Entity" get better every time they play 'em. Plus, they're capable of hitting the quiet spots with finesse - "Right Where It Belongs" and "La Mer" prove that.

| Re: Favourite deep purple incarnation I don't know a damn thing about Deep Purple incarnations. I have "Machine Head" because I mindlessly obeyed a guitar magazine's top 10 classic rock albums list...and I like it alright I guess.
