INVINCABLE...great sports movie ... i found myself cheering for eagles against my beloved cowboys...if i was sitting in a bar with mark from philly i could have about hundred questions about movie, but,i"ll limit it to 3...

(1) does movie portray typical philadelphia fans correctly ?

(2) do you think film was actually shot in philadelphia?

(3) what would happen if someone left a south philly bar late at night wearing a ny giants jersey?

FWIW:i thought greg kinnaer does look a little like dick vermeil...

Well I haven't been able to get to the Movie yet since our newborn Annabelle arrived about 2 weeks ago but I will see it eventually. So to answer Question one I can't until i see the movie but from past history Eagles fans are not usually potrayed in a real good light. Some of it is warranted and some not.
I think some scenes were shot here because I know someone who took part as an extra in some scenes.
As for wearing a Giants jersey Ha Ha. I would not go to the game with it on if they are playin' the Eagles. Some one may threaten your life but mostly it would all be in fun. Now at the Old Vet that place was like the Roman collesium and wearing the other teams colors could deafinatly get you hurt.P.S. Same goes for a Redskin or (more so) a Cowboy jersey.
can't coment on the guy playin Vermiel yet till i see the Movie.
Hope to see it Right before regular season starts. glad you enjoyed it though.

Man, unless your wife is a saint, you're in denial - you've been in your last theater for at least a year, and it'll probably be two before you even get to sit through a whole DVD uninterrupted.

There are workarounds, but it took awhile to work them out. It also took quite awhile before I would trust anyone else to watch my girls for even that long - I'm sure you know what I mean.

I haven't seen the movie just yet myself...

Philly fans are notorious, though.
