Methinks its sort of a Grand Old Boys thingy, the idealogy that what has been posted in the past is somehow the end all be all in the land of this forum, a forum that isnt as active as many I frequent. Instead of having an attitude that all new thoughts and ideas should be embraced it seems to this lone soldier that on the contrary fresh takes are nothing but a nuisance. Why not let those old threads go and fade into the past? Is the future that scary of a proposition? Is the past so euphoric that one should strive to cling to it without concern of what is now or what may be? Why not just let all the duplicate threads be, welcome them and new members? The strain on the server can be allieviated by deleting all of the old threads that do nothing but embrace a hollow sunken image of what was but will never be again. Breathe life into this corpse instead of continuously pumping embalming fluid into a cadaver. Is this really that radical of an idea? Is this more earth shattering than a Spanish explorer making the claim that he believed despite all scientific data suggesting otherwise that the world was indeed round? I say lets turn the page, close the door and march forth confident in the future. Leave the past where it belongs . . . dead.
The great thing about Internet BBS's is that they allow you to consolidate all past discussion into one easily-browsable thread organized by date.

The bad thing about Internet BBS's is when they sprawl into a million indistinguishable discussions about the same thing.

If you look at my original post, I left people open to discuss the movies they saw, this isn't just a list thread. I think that people may not be so inclined to discuss some movie they just saw in their fave/least fave. But hey, if you don't like this thread you can just not post in it, and then maybe it'll die out, preventing it from becoming the pain in the ass that you're making it out to be.

last movie I saw was "Full Eclipse" which might have been the worst movie I have ever seen.

Collateral.

It was my second time seeing it and I think its an amazing movie, I strongly recommend it. Also, at one point in the movie they play the perfect song at the perfect moment (Audioslave - Shadow on the Sun), I just love scenes like that.

Just noticed that I wrote this, I have no idea what I was doing then. I meant "the fave/least film thread", too late to edit tho.

I am currently watching Trainspotting which has become one of my favorite movies.

Tha last movie I watched is still Pulp Fiction, but I fully intend to watch Blow in the next 24 hours, which I have seen many a time before and is a great movie.

Re: Last Movie Thread

I haven't seen Blow in way too long, I'll definately have to pick that one up sometime. Last movie I watched was American History X, it never ceases to amaze me. Definately one of the most powerful movies I have seen.

Blow is very close to Pulp Fiction as the best movie ever

Re: Last Movie Thread

I caught "L.A. Confidential" about an hour into the movie on HBO, but ended up falling asleep (late night last night, so I was really tired today). When I woke up "Selena" was on.

edit: last movie I actually saw: "Manic". Awesome movie.
