I've seen Thirteen, but I think Manic is way better. They are 2 really different movies though, the only similarity is they both have "troubled" teens.

I am looking for the name of a movie that tells the story of British and German troops on the Western front in WWI during Christmas time and much to there officers dismay the troops on both sides have a cease-fire and play soccer and drink beer and live a little. I think its a French movie and the title has Noel in it i think. When we were in Amsterdam for our Honeymoon last Nov. we saw commercials on it. Thanks for any info anyone has on this movie.

That could only have happened in 1914. By the following year, both sides were embittered and the officers (both sides) watched closely to prevent fratranization.

I remember the story from school, we was taught it started with the Germans singing silent night and the Brits joining in.
