Re: Last Movie Thread

I watched "Mean Girls".

Best part: Prima donna queen bee Regina George gets taken out by a bus.

Watched Manic last night. Really, well, interesting. Very thought provoking. Good though.

Re: Last Movie Thread

Yesterday my friend and I got high and watched "Waking Life". Insane movie while high, the roboscoping was great and writing was really good too. I haven't watched it sober, but it seems like it would still be a really good movie regardless. Can't wait for Linklater's new film, "A Scanner Darkly" to hit theaters.

Actually it's incredibly bad but you've gotta love it, Kathy Burke as Perry is absolute genius, you forget she is a woman playing a teenage boy and then when you suddenly remember it makes it all slightly surreal.

Re: Last Movie Thread

I can't remember what exactly it was called. It was on Turner Classic Movies, it was in black and white, and was made in the 40's. It was like Journey across Morocco or something.

The premice was that theres some princess of Morocco and these 2 American guys both wanted to marry her but some sheik also wanted to marry her so they had to like sabatosh the skeiks desert tent.

It was a romantic comedy, really good.

Bob Hope and Bing Crpsby made a "Road to..." series of movies. Bob hope is, in my opinion, one of England's best exports to the US.
