Yes, I'd recommend...bit of a stinky ending ....but apart from that ..not bad!

ps

seen Faster Pussycat Kill Kill *cough*..purely from an artistic viewpoint you understand...*ahem*...not his best... but it has its moments.

Yeah people have been going on about the end being b****cks though I'm glad that no one's spoiled it for me yet by telling me. Well its EITHER that or Alien vs. Predator (which my man wants to see) and quite frankly, I needed someone else to big up this one so we could go see it instead, so thanks!

I believe it was originally marketed as a sequel, but when it flopped, Ebert changed his mind and said it was a parody of the original.

I didn't mean sequel in the literal sense, as Jacqueline Susann had nothing to do with it, but it did carry on the trashy spirit of the first quite nicely from what I understand.

Saw Cloverfield today. It was okay. I like the way it was shot.

with Academy Award nominations out this morning,it would appear Daniel-Day Lewis is a cinch to win for role in above movie...

Note to Botley: Fellow Canadian Ellen Page looks she has a good chance for Best Actress win...

Re: Last Movie Thread

Yup! Seems like a nice girl, too, and deserving of the recognition.

Also watched "Atonement" yesterday -- I really liked the Dunkirk recreation.

Re: Last Movie Thread

my son wants to treat me to Rambo this weekend...Rambo was probably the reason he joined the Marine Corps...

in recent interview Matt Lauer said the movie was so violent that reviewers had to turn their heads and Sly said they wanted it that way because of the violence in Burma...

in interview Matt Lauer said somethimg about using HGH and Sly looked at Matt Lauer like he was an idiot and said."you know HGH is just an Amino Acid "...
