He made so many good ones, and that is up there with the best of them. I have a great fondness for Dial M for Murder and Strangers on a Train..but I still think Psycho wins it by a nose.

Re: Last Movie Thread

I've always preferred Notorious, but The Birds, Rear Window, The 39 Steps, and Psycho are all top-notch.

Re: Last Movie Thread

The last movie I've seen was "Be cool" and it sucked.
"Because I said so" was much better.

Went to see Doomsday today. Escape from New York meets Mad Max meets Virus
Plenty of gore and psychopathic Glaswegians ( nothing new there then)

this week:

The Dead Zone - 4th Season
August Rush
Juno
The Water Horse
Chicago 10

Looking for Bin Laden playing at the Bijou near my my pad, might have to check that one out this week...documentary made by the same guy who taped himself eating 3 meals a day at McDonald's for a month...that sounds worse than waterboarding...

Re: Last Movie Thread

I'm Not There...just received the 2 disc collector's item from Amazon.com...2nd disc is loaded with lots of good stuff...

movie is kinda strange with 6 different people playing alter ego's of Dylan although none are actually called Bob Dylan in movie...Cate Blanchett is outstanding as Jude as Dylan in his beatnic days in Greenich Village...

Re: Last Movie Thread

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull -

overall pretty good: special effects,etc...but I thought the story line was a little disjointed...

Re: Last Movie Thread

My Blueberry Nights...Norah Jones first acting job with the addition of Natalie Portman not bad on the eyes, but, movie basically sucked...

watching Norah Jones and Judd Law eating pie through half the movie,i made a beeline for the nearest diner for a slice of Lemon Creme Pie right after the movie...
