New david gilmour album?

Is there any indication from interviews or other sources whether gilmour intends this to be his last album/tour or does he intend to continue at a speedier rate than he done these psat few years? if he keeps working at the same rate then id say that we may see another album in about 2025 just before he dies!

I've seen at least one interview where he says that he intends to do another album, but I will be surprised if it will be out before he turns 70.

According to Phil Manzanera they had enough material left over to do another 3 albums!

Exactly like the leftover material from The Division Bell. Maybe they will be released simultaneously!

If the material was overflowing its possible that one may follow shortly but IMO Dave wont want to rush into the recording studio for quite a while after this years tour

Before it finally happens (if ever) we're going tho have, in this order:

- 2007: nothing
- 2008: 1 year of unconfirmed rumours
- 2009: DG's intention is to probably record "something" in the next few years
- 2010: unconfirmed rumours of the upcoming sessions being for a Pink Floyd album
- 2010: DG confirming that he's indeed working but not booked the studios yet
- 2011: DG postponing the recording sessions in order to prepare meal for family's dinner
- 2012: DG finally entering studios
- 2012: unconfirmed rumours about special guests and the possibility of the album being indeed a Pink Floyd one
- 2013: DG recording some bits of extra stuff and final touches
- 2014: The album being delayed due to technical issues and improvements
- ......
- ......

Why cant they make music like floyd at the begining, 67-73 there was an average of more than one floyd album a year!

I reckon it might have something to do with them being in their 20's/30's back in the early days of Floyd and the fact that they'll be in nursing homes soon.
