Absolutely Curtains (weird vocals)

At the end of the song Absolutely Curtains on Obscured by Clouds it ends with some people chanting some kind of song.

I checked Wikipedia and it said that it is the langauge of the Magupa tribe of New Guinea. Does anyone know what langauge this tribe speaks so this part of the song could be translated?

I cut the the Magupa tribes vocals out of the song and hosted it on RapidShare incase anyone wants to listen.

I don't believe it's in any language; a lot of tribal song is based around random improvised vocables that don't mean anything on their own.

EDIT: The song itself, of course, has its own meaning — what that might be, I'm not sure.

I hoped someone thought it was norwegian. That could've given me a good a laugh.

Re: Absolutely Curtains (weird vocals)

My ex-friend grew up in PNG, his parents being missionaries or translators for the Gideon Bible people. He said it was "boidokan pidgeon" I don't know HOW that is spelt, and I don't talk to him anymore, so I don't really want to ASK him...

He was playing Tomb Raider on my computer years ago, and I had OBC on in the background, and he paused the game as soon as he heard that and said "That sounds like my tribe.... I KNOW THAT LANGUAGE!"

Anyways, "boidokan pidgeon".... I am sure it's spelt differently, but there are several HUNDRED dialects of that.... and there are over THOUSANDS of different dialects and languages in all of PNG.... so I wouldn't suggest trying to translate.

sure made me laugh when BWF89 said it was in French in that other thread...but then when you're unaware of how a certain language sounds, you can't really tell when you hear it.
