Well, I'm feelin kinda excluded at the moment. I have a slight understanding of what you're on about but not a whole one. Anyway...what I didn't like about '2001' was the fact that it was more of a "my effects are bigger than yours" movie than anything else. Maybe I need to be a guy to understand that (jokes) I don't totally hate it , but I think he's done better ie The Clockwork Orange.

This is Spinal Tap
Monty Python & the Holy Grail (duh)
Casablanca

And about 80 others, most of which I can't remember. I was really drunk at the time....

another Snatch lover !

Hey Geraldthemouse - isn't that a great flick!?

Really well directed, and i love the music.
My fav. scene is when Brad Pitt is watching his trailer in flames, and there's that great music in teh background -sad, but i love it...

Have you seen the DVD? You have the option to have all the Pikey subtitled--- it makes the movie about ten times funnier.

There are two that I could watch over and over and over and etc. again.

1. Rushmore
2. The Colour of Money

Rushmore isn't too popular, but they sure do play it on Comedy Central TONS. And of course...the famous, brilliant, billiards movie!

I don't think there's anything wrong with the effects at all, but it seemed to me that a lot of time would pass and nothing would happen....that's all. And I must agree with Snatch...that movie is so damn funny. It's better than Lock Stock.

I have read it. As a matter of fact I have read most of Hunter S. Thompsons books. That movie is so friggin awesome!

As for Snatch, That movie is friggin great. If you're going to see it, get the DVD. That movie has become one of my all time favs.
