The KinKs

oh my god! They're great...more than great,... they're extraordinary!!!! The have quite unique style (and its not like lola or waterloo sunset) There is band alike..i think the nearest are Oasis.
They have such wonderful songs in their discography and i consider them very innovative. I think this is one of the band most underrated or infamous that should have more fame.

Any kinks fan round APFFN?

I liked 'em, zany Brit nutters though they were.

The usual hits + obscure gems like Somebody Stole My Car endeared them to me.

I love the early Shel Tamy-dominated stuff best, but their whole catalogue is ace.
