Ouch!!! In his earlier days--ABSOLUTELY agreed. But take a look at some pictures of him circa ITF. I think it's been a big improvement since he learned to SMILE at the camera, instead of either a) staring stupidly with mouth hanging open or b) glowering dangerously or c) refusing to look at the camera.

Smiling or not, he's still one ugly dude with English teeth.

Here's my response to that: "He's not the worst, and he's not the best". I think he looks better now; he is one of the Floydians who aged more gracefully (actually IMPROVING like wine), but he's not the best of the bunch.

Ever seen a kitten whose ears and tail are WAY TOO LARGE, or a Labrador puppy with huge paws? That was Mr. Waters when he was young. He really looked like he had yet to grow into his nose. But I think that he's kind of grown into the nose in later years (look at the pictures of him from ITF). He doesn't look too bad. I still think another Floydian looks better, of course! ![]()

Alright, Waters was very ugly. Now he's just plain ugly. Dave was a model (not kidding). Today, he still is. For a barrel factory. Rick has always had the same mouse face. And Nick's, besides being a bit "stretched", is very funny when laughing. Looks like other person! _________________ Pink Floyd site coming soon! I wouldn't call him cute, but I would say he looks...okay, now. I will tell you half the game is ATTITUDE! <<Dave was a model (not kidding). Today, he still is. For a barrel factory.>> He's lost some weight now...but he's still on the heavy side. I hope for the sake of his health he takes care of himself. He still has a nice smile, but I'll admit he DEFINITELY needs to watch out. <<Rick has always had the same mouse face.>> :???: Um...ri-ight... I think he's a very handsome gentleman. A very nice smile, and pretty eyes. I think he's probably aged the most gracefully. <<And Nick's, besides being a bit "stretched", is very funny when laughing. Looks like other person!>> Hmm...I think we kind of agree on this...I wouldn't put him in the "best" category, but I wouldn't put him in the "worst", either. Even in his younger photos...I never gave him a second look one way or the other.

Yay!!! Somebody else sees it! I think your ranking for the early days is correct. For the current times... RWr RW DG NM (can't explain this one...I just think Mr. Gilmour has still kept a very nice smile, despite his weight issue.) [Note: Mr. Barrett is off the list for obvious reasons.]

Re: Things you did when you didn't know Floyd very well I used to think that multiple hits of orange sunshine + DSotM + snake/rat deathmatch = synergistic experience, rather than a merely complementary one. Silly me.

Re: Things you did when you didn't know Floyd very well I was always told by people that they were evil... and for some reason figured they were a bunch of Satanists or something. I still get told that they are evil, only now my response is to force them to listen for a bit. Also, after starting to purchase all their albums, I used to think Animals was a pile of crap. I just couldn't see what was any good about it. Then I forced myself to listen to nothing but that album nonstop for a week... now it's my favourite album by anyone of all time. Absolutely brilliant album. The only change I'd make is to add a balloon -POP!- sound into Pigs TDO.... right about at 5min 12 sec. (listen to it and try it!! Put your finger in your cheek and pop it out right when the music breaks for a brief moment before the voice-box! I can't listen without doing that now...)
