Things you did when you didn't know Floyd very well

I used to listen to Pink Floyd.

i didnt differ between gilmour and wright, and way before that i thought pink floyd was a band with frontman roger waters and a cousin told me "this guy that has his band and plays the song "The Wall" "...and i imagined roger and his band with the drummer as a fat and big guy like the one in gorillaz...

I thought Pink Floyd was a type of material that sweaters were made of.

They used to scare me very much! I saw The Wall with my dad when I was 8, and I was afraid of the hammers and the cartoons. Then, I saw the Another Brick in the Wall pt 2 video, and the children with the mask scared me too. When I grow up, I was still afraid of the Floyd, tought it was a dark band or something like that LOL

and I used to think that Syd Barrett died of an overdose...

I had no idea about their music before dark side of the moon, i thought it was their debut album.

I've always loved their music, as i used to listen to my brother playing them when i was about 6,7 years on and onwards, but now, it's become almost an obsession.
Everything on my pc is PF related, inc MSN, Facebook, everything i do pretty much lol.
I'm really getting into the research side of Floyd and am reading a book atm titled The making of the Pink Floyd masterpiece.
Brilliant book.

I saw the 'ABITW Part 2' music video once, before I developed an interest in Pink Floyd. To be specific, it's not the one with the film footage, it's the one with footage from 'The Trial' and 'Waiting For The Worms', along with miscellanious live-action footage.

I always thought that the clip of Pink being encapsulated in his wall represented something else, instead of it's intended meaning.

Before I heard the record I thought it was a reference to the Berlin wall.

My brother painted the albumartwork from wish you were here and I was wondering why the hell that man was on fire.

And I just listened to darkside of the moon for a few years before I actually wondered to explore more of Pink floyd.
