Were you one of the millions of pissed off viewers when MTV cut halfway through the second CN solo?

Re: Idea Gilmour/Waters tour

I think David, Nick, Roger and Rick should be the backing band for Jon Carin's solo tour.

Why just the "later"?

Money doesn't seem to be the incentive that will get them together. If Syd's passing doesn't, heaven only knows what, if anything, will.
I agree its blatantly clear that personal financial gain is not an incentive. I'm not entirely sure whether Syd's passing will do much either unless a third party organised an event and they were asked to play, in a similar way to how Bob Geldof did. I can't see them pro-actively doing a Syd memorial gig as IMHO there is no real purpose to it as far as the individual members are concerned. Its unlikely that its what Syd would have wanted having read some of the more recent artciles about his lifestyle and views in later life and unless it helps the band with their grief what is the point?
