I thought "flicked" meant "stole" or "Borrowed illegaly/ without permission"....

It's an expression we people from Bombay use : flicked = borrowed illeagaly... I think it means "steal" in English (though I like the word "pinched")

We say nicked in the UK, flicked means something entirely different. Fascinating stuff eh?

I discovered P F by myself, but a co-worker who was a fan advised me to buy DSOTM, Animals & WYWH when I told him how great I thought "Time" was.
