Talking

Animals is one of my favourites now too. I've got the Quadmix as DTS encoded *.wav file (DSotM & WYWH aswell).

I was intrigued by the cover of this newly released album, by a group I'd never heard of, whilst browsing in a record shop way back when. Dark Side of the Moon still holds "pride of place" in my vinyl collection. And I've been a fan ever since.

Wow, you listened to Floyd for the first time live? That must've been magic! I still get the sense I'm never going to be able to actually fork up the money to see Rog. Since I've never listened to any solo Roger, I figure doing what you did and experiencing it live first would be pretty damn cool.

As long as he doesn't play Radio KAOS. ... Yeah.

My dad first played Pink Floyd to me when I was about five, and since then Ive grown up listening to the tunes of DSOTM and WYWH. Just last year I discovered a huge pile of Floyd records that I had never heard of (that I now consider as precious as gold), and since then I haven't looked back. I aim to own every single album of Floyd by the time I'm 20 (im 16) and I refuse to worship any current music. I have my dad to thank for that.

My Uncle Paul got me into pink floyd. I heard them once at his house and thought they sounded cool so i asked him if i could borrow a cd of theirs. He gave me dark side of the moon....
needless to say i was hooked.

my uncle's been a huge fan forever, when i was probably ten or eleven he made me listen to 'the wall' in his truck with him from start to finish, then a few years later he took me with him to the roger waters concert. we were in the 14th row on the floor, it was amazing (cept i was too short and had to stand on my chair...) but it was awesome. that was definately the best concert i ever saw.
my mom figured it was a phase (yeah right) and now, 5 years later, i've completely repainted my room to look like the wall, with the prism and the pig and everything. whatever.
