American cars are also manufactured here but why I don't know...

When you say "here," where exactly are you referring to? Your location does read, after all, "The Unseen Faculty of the University of Polymorphication."

They're manufactured there as well but with added features such as Thaumaturgical Detectors, an in-car driving system operated by imps with sqeaky voices and a Wings button you can press to fly over the motorway... understandably they are rare and very expensive.

Seriously though, I'm in the UK.

Just curious. I didn't even know we manufactured cars across the sea there. We do have some english cars available here in the U.S. I have been seeing Mini Coopers all over the place lately.
