Re: My Bloody Valentine

I actually dig Swervedriver a lot

Duel and Last Train To Satansville are simply ace!

Re: My Bloody Valentine

well i've only heard Duel of those 3 and

actually, i'm into shoegaze last one year, "newbie" but i've always loved MBV, so lately i've started exploring shoegaze history
slowdive and lush are great
and nowadays, there are new albums of Fleeting Joys and Asobi Seksu, i bought their new album, called Citrus, it's sooo cute
Asobi Seksu is NY based band, 3 of them where vocalist is a Japaneese girl with so cute voice

i wanted to post here some links for dwnld of few songs, but don\t know can i actually do that? don't know about those rules

Re: My Bloody Valentine

Quite frankly, Swervedriver's entire "Mezcal head" album is fantastic.

Very under appreciated band, IMHO

I think it would be fair to say that I'm probably not much into shoegazing as much as I'm into Swervedriver.

Re: My Bloody Valentine

I used to like My Bloody Valentine except they never followed up the Loveless cd or if they did I got sick of waiting for it kinda like the Stone Roses when they took forever with Second Coming. Pretty cool atmospheric music though. Slowdive and lush were also pretty cool .Also a band by the name of Curve was pretty good too.

Re: My Bloody Valentine

haha
well you're right Mr. Dwyer, MBV finished with Loveless, and TSR (also one of my fave bands) finished with Second comming (except me being younger so didn't wait on anything, it all passed till i grew up), but Roses' story is continuing Ian Brown
it's good there are still shoegazing bands, mostly in the States, so it itsn't hopeless i still enjoy that music every day

did you know that after Motorhead, MBV was titled as 2nd most noise band in the world?
