Pink Floyd Laser Light Show

Well I recently moved to a place called Killeen,Texas. Its near Waco and about an hour away from Austin and there is a planetarium here and, apparently, they show laser light shows every now and then. Tonight they had a Pink Floyd: The Wall, so i went to see it. It was very entertaining, although they didn't play all the songs it was good. They may show these lots of places but I'm not sure, has anyone seen one? Did you think it was as entertaining as i thought it was? I think the true message of The Wall comes through when you show flashy lights and preety circles!

I saw The Wall & Metallica laser show at the Fels Planetarium in the Franklin Institute a couple of years ago and they were entertaining.

The Killeen planetarium also had "Beatles Laser Light" and "The Music of U2 Laser Light" but i didn't make it to either of those.

Well there is a museum which I really don't like but they have laser light shows. They used to play random Pink Floyd songs and I went once. Now they do The Beatles that one is good too.

Re: Pink Floyd Laser Light Show

I went to a midnight PF-The Wall laser light show about 16 years ago. I had to drive all the way across town to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (Gates Planetarium). I got there about 11:40pm. It was already sold out. I was major-league pissed, and never tried again.

I saw a DSotM laser show at Gates Planetarium ~1980. It was pretty good. We must've got there early enough - I remember it being really crowded and waiting in line a long time. Thanks for prompting the memory, Stratters!

Re: Pink Floyd Laser Light Show

I live in the Dallas area and I missed the Pink Floyd Laser show this year, but caught it last year. They played a video of The Wizard of Oz along with the Dark Side of the Moon album, or as many people would call the combination - The Dark Side of Oz. They didn't have too much of a laser show for that half of the show, but it was pretty cool still. The second half was the laser show to most of The Wall, and it was amazing! My friends and I bought the 3D glasses and all and had a great time! Definitely a memorable experience, and I hope to catch it again sometime.

So is the marijuana provided at these shows, or do you bring your own?
