Obscured by clouds,nice,but how about cluster one? Visual effects glowing as the sounds from the earth enter,Rick's haunting synth gets rolling and then Dave silences the crowd with his guitar...aahh...:grin:

Pigs (3 different ones) could be a good opener. Grunt noises with band members appearing on stage as each part commences. PF opened with Astronome Domine occasionally on the TDB tour which worked well. Yet Another Movie would work well too, as would One of These Days. Personnally SOYCD works better as the start to a second set.

i agree, pigs (3 different ones) is a good way to start out a concert. and for the second set they could do shine on (1st half) for the first song, then for the encore do WYWH and shine on (second half).

My local tribute band started with Cluster One/ What Do You Want From Me? But I think nothing starts a show better than In the Flesh?

Yeah, I saw Wish You Were Here on 14-Sep-01. That's the show when they dedicated "Run Like Hell" to Bin Laden and closed with DSOTM.
