"Point Me At The Sky" is great. One of my favourite Floyd songs, personally.

And I would love to see "It Would Be So Nice" released officially, as well. They could also get all of the early singles...there isn't an official album that does this, is there? Or am I just missing it?

There is "1967: The Three First Singles" which has, um, the first three singles (Arnold Layne, See Emily Play, and Apples and Oranges).

there is the "early singles" cd which comes with the box set "shine on". but if you already have all the albums, whats the use of buying 1 cd for about $150??? they need to release it w/out the others.

The "Early Singles" disc in the box set is the only way to get "It Would Be So Nice" and "Point Me At The Sky" on CD officially. As far as vinyl goes, you can pick up the original 45's of course, or you can try to find "Masters of Rock" an import-only (made in Holland) early songs collection, which was an official release, but only has "It Would Be So Nice", not "Point Me At The Sky", unfortunately. The "1967: First Three Singles" disc that was spoken of does not have either of these, though it does have "Candy And A Currant Bun". So if you want those songs on disc, either shell out the $150 (c'mon it's Floyd, it's worth it :smile or look for the "Early Singles" disc alone (try eBay, they turn up once in a while).

I have all the early singles on a CD called "Relics +". It's basically Relics plus Candy & a Currant Bun, Apples & Oranges, The Scarecrow, Point Me At The Sky, It Would Be So Nice, Heart Beat Pig Meat, Crumbling Land & Come In no.51 Your Time Is Up.

I got it from Southampton record fair about six years ago for £6.

A complete bargain!

Yeah FW,

It's been out of print for a while, but you can always find one on Ebay. I've seen lots of them.
