Yeah, they played in New Orleans in a domed stadium with Astroturf.

Does the average fan like that astroturf? As a player or more so a spectator, wouldnt you rather be on grass. Something about finishing the game with a clean jersey - apart from any blood that is. Doesnt seem right.

Yeah thought so...

Playing on turf sucks. You can't wear cleats, and you can pretty much trip over the lines. Something about turf makes it incredibly hard even to walk on, much less run a play upon. There's also this new-fangled Nike Turf made from recycled tennis shoes (really!) that you CAN wear cleats on and is actually pretty nice. 'cept it costs about $1.5 mil to install.... but that's not too much in NFL terms.

Anyway, I agree: The SB deserves grass and cleats, not this indoor tennis shoe crap.

Doesnt that tennis shoe surface hurt when the players get tackled? I'd thought it would.

Doesn't hurt any more that grass. Or at least not a whole lot more. Astroturf is the ugly stuff.

This one football stadium that a Division 1 college plays at has astroturf. Blue astroturf!!

I mean if you're going to have astroturf at least make it the right color, oh well the floyd said it the best, any colour you like.
