And so the darkness it went on
Seeming as if it had only just begun.
Merciless the time it seems.
Keeping alive those endless dreams.
Suddenly my soul within me burning.
While the reckless tide on me was turning.
For uselessness I kept on yearning.
While the ignorant were never learning.
The beast inside me started crying.
For all it was fed was endless lying.
Eventually my soul grew stronger.
Seemingly it bled no longer.
For my day was indeed darker than my night.
Asleep I was freed from endless fright.
And the lady bright who had taken back the light.
Surrounded by fake cocaine glory.
It was obvious there had to be another story.
For this was an emotional valley of steel.
Where incompetent mystery is all one can feel.
The heart shall never get no understanding.
For the great power appears to be so demanding.
