That's not the case at all.
I enjoy Floyd just as much sober. I've listened to floyd since I was 13 and bought all their albums before I ever smoked weed. It's just a different experience when you hear it stoned, but so is everything else. Eating is great when you're stoned. Watching a movie is great when you're stoned. Staring at your hands is great when you're stoned.

Now, I know some people who are like "huh huh, yeah man, pink floyd is great when you're stooooooned huh huh, huh huh," and I say "**** you, man. pink floyd is great regardless".

I hate to be a party pooper but there are stacks of threads about 'getting stoned' and a wide variety of drugs etc, whereas this Forum ( Welcome to the Machine) is an opportunity for new members to introduce themselves, and for us to welcome them to the site. move along folks...nothing to see here....

see i am the same as u
started listing to floyd & getting into them when i was 13 & now i am 16
i never smoked before i got into floyd
i started smoking when i was 16
i only listined to a floyd album once (piper) when i was high & a couple of other songs of theres
i mainly listin to jimi hendrix (electric lady land)
but i feel i enjoy floyd better sober
& like i hate the people that are like floyd is so much better when ur baked & they suck with out drugs
that pisses me off
that is what i am trying to get atn
