Yes it isnt anybody's business really but since its general news now, its not going to hurt posting it in a place where at least people have some genuine interest. I also assume this solves questions on royalty, he surely still got some to get as much as he did, to the Floyds in their minds, he never truely left. Glad to see a man who was content in simplisity to get so much rather that the vulgar displays of wealth that most "rock stars" and rappers do these days.....

who said anything about the music? I cant stand Barbara Streisand (obvious reasons regarding what she charges) but it doesnt mean I think her tunes suck, well okay, a number of them do, but you catch my drift.

There's some interesting stuff there. Since Syd's current raison d'etre seems to be to return his elements to the environment, I don't suppose he'd be too disgruntled if people talked about it.

On the whole, he seems to have done reasonably well (in the financial sense) from his early career, and has made a generous and equitable distribution of his estate to his surviving siblings. Cheers, Syd, I always knew you were a gentleman.

Ack, I dont care to go on to discuss the difference between "people" and their "music," I really couldnt put it into simpler terms. I tried. Its all I can do.
