Remember That Night

As most of you probably know, the release date of David's DVD from his concerts at Royal Albert Hall in London is September 17.

On David's web site there is a little preview of what the DVD is about.

When I get tmy hands on the first DVD arriving in Norway I will use the first night to watch Echoes over and over again.

Re: Remember That Night

I hope they've included the "(flat note) ...****!" version of Wyatt's solo.

Re: Remember That Night

Here is some of the songs from the DVD. Most of the songs did really improve during the tour. Awesome solo on "This Heaven" (which the uploader has called "Then I Close My Eyes".)

Re: Remember That Night

I got the DVD today. Lots of highlights. It is fun to watch the meeting between Roger and David at Bray Studios. Echoes is of course the highlight on the concert disc, but most of the songs are fantastic IMO. The "Rick Wright version" of CN includes maybe the best solo I've heard on this song. The acoustic version of Echoes is a hidden track after Dark Globe. It's fun to watch, and I wonder how good it could've been if they had rehearsed it. I think the concert reaches the level of "In The Flesh" and "Pulse", but as a DVD this is far better.
