Well us Brits have a new Primeminister. Does anyone care? I dunno but thought I would start a thread about it anyway. My initial thoughts on the new cabinet ...

From what I understand, you folks didn't quite like Tony either, but I might be wrong.

Re: Gordon Brown

I love Tony Blair, he is so rock n roll, he even owns a strat.
lol.
He made some tres shitty mistakes but the man had talent. His charm could sell ice to the eskimos (until he met Jaque Chirac) At least he tried to answer people's questions in an open forum on a monthly basis, completely unaware to what random questions he may have been asked.

Gordon Brown will suck in the personality department but I think he will do better as a primeminister.

Re: Gordon Brown

I'm glad to see the back of Tony, but still undecided about Gordie. Only time will tell...

..but will he deliver? How many times before have we had politicians making fine speeches and never following through...unless its in their underwear?

I listened to him and that Tory twerp Cameron locking horns in parliament today, and poor old Gordie was like a rabbit caught in the headlights. He was stammering and spluttering like nobodys business. One would have thought that he would have gotten some lessons from Tony Bliar on how to give a polished performance...

Re: Gordon Brown

Mr. Brown seems to have mastered the usual political platitudes.

I was a bit surprised by his new policy that Islamic terrorism is to be ignored, or whatever the hell that was all about.

Just remember what's exposed when your head is buried in the sand, Gordo.

Re: Gordon Brown

Yeah, he is also going to try to tone down relations with the US because he apparently doesn't agree with our stance. Can't wait to see how that turns out. Maybe we'll change the name of the English Muffin to the Freedom Muffin.

Re: Gordon Brown

We should change the name of everything to the Freedom Everything and stop talking to anyone at all because the US can never do anything wrong ever and anyone who criticizes the US is wrong wrong wrong and that's obvious long live FREEDOMMMMM
