remember one year ago San Diego and Colorado were fighting it out in NL West to one game playoff and now one year later both teams suck this year...

Not sure what happened to the Padres this year but I know that the Rockies had almost the whole starting infield on the DL along with Matt Halliday and some of there starting pitchers. The Yankees are another team wacked with injuries this year. Its tough to win without your whole team. Nobody feels sorry for the teams that are down. Go Phils sweep them Nat's this weekend and win the division.

i'd be worried about the long layoff,rewind back one year to what happened to the Rockies last year...off one week,then swept 4 straight in the Series...Cole Hamels will be off 7 days between starts,the others around 10 days each...

For instance, out of those 11 years, how many series went to all seven games? The fewer games, the less closely matched are the teams.
