Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm

I think it's one of the best, but I love Extras, with Ricky Gervais, I also liked the original Office, but I haven't see to much of anything on TV lately.

The original Office is definetly up there with Curb, i've only seen a few episodes of Extras, but i loved the Ricky Gervais Show podcast thing

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm

While we talk about this I don't think we are considering that he said "Best Show", not "best comedy".

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm

CYE is for morons with no sense of humor who think to themselves, "that guy from Seinfeld wrote it and everyone likes Seinfeld so it must be good." The show is horrible and Larry David struck gold once for about 4 years (let's face it, once Seinfeld caught on it got bad), but Curb is totally unfunny, banal and poorly acted.

Also AD was the best show on television.

I'm filling Dad's shoes, now, Michael. Literally. Well, the shoes didn't fit but at least I got into Dad's pants.

You're only half right i think, I think people thought it must be good because of seinfeld and that's why it's popular, but that doesn't mean it can't be good in it's own right. It's like if Barry, from Eastenders, was in a film you'd go see it because he's Barry, from Eastenders goddammit, but it could be a perfectly good movie even though barry, from eastenders, was in it.....

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm

That theory would be correct if the show was funny or well-written, but it is not.
