from what i've heard:

astronomy domine
see emily play
jugband blues
atom heart mother
one of these days
fearless
san tropez
echoes
time
the great gig in the sky
money
us and them
any colour you like
shine on you crazy diamond
wish you were here
dogs
pigs (three different ones)
sheep
in the flesh?/in the flesh!
the happiest days of our lives/another brick in the wall part 2
mother
hey you
is there anybody out there?
comfortably numb
run like hell
not now john
learning to fly
on the turning away
sorrow
marooned
wearing the inside out
coming back to life
keep talking
high hopes

don't ask me to try to narrow it down, because i can't. but 'high hopes', 'echoes', 'dogs', 'comfortably numb', and 'shine on you crazy diamond' would probably be somewhere near the top.

but i do think 'shine on you crazy diamond' is their most important song, as well as the pinnacle of their career.

Ooh, yeah. The Final Cut is a very underrated song. I like how it all fades out at the end, leaving only that placid string section. Beautiful stuff. That's probably after SOYCD, Echoes, and CN on my list.

Lemme jump in on that idea, tterrab.

10. Lucifer Sam
9. Fearless
8. Us And Them
7. Nobody Home
6. Wot's...uh The Deal?
5. Wish You Were Here
4. The Final Cut
3. SOYCD
2. Comfortably Numb
1. Echoes

Honorable Mention: Scarecrow, High Hopes, Not Now John, Run Like Hell

Changes a lot for me, too, depending on how burnt out I become on albums like The Wall.

God, ONE song out of their wholleeeee catalogue. That's HARD, folks. Well, it's between 3 songs for me.

Brain Damage + Eclipse, Pigs (Three Different Kinds) or Wish You Were Here. I CAN'T CHOOSE! OH, LORD IN HEAVEN HELP ME!

I just can't choose, but it's among Brain Damage + Eclipse, Pigs (Three Different Kinds) or Wish You Were Here.

I'd have to say One of These Days the way the music blends is beautiful but right behind is Comfortably Numb.

".....we came in?"

Exclamation

omigosh
I just saw something strange out here ...
only two persons have mentionned Atom Heart Mother.
Whats going on over here i cant imagine how someone could pass by this floydish perfection.
I cant believe what i am looking at.
Seriously this is the real order there should be people :

- Atom Heart Mother ( sniff )
- Echoes
- Mudman
- One of these days
- Fat old sun

<grrrrrr> <grrrrrr> <grrrrrr>
