Pink Floyd Box Set?

Anyone heard about this coming out soon (or something?)
Pink Floyd to celebrate 40th anniversary with complete box set?

The set features all their albums plus rarities

A listing has appeared on Amazon.co.uk for the set, currently titled 'Studio Box Set' and priced at £144.99.

The 17-disc set, as well as featuring all of the group's albums, is likely to include extra CDs of rarities, interviews and videos.

The box set, released on November 26, will compile the following albums:

'The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn'
'A Saucerful Of Secrets'
'Music From The Film More'
'Ummagumma'
'Atom Heart Mother'
'Meddle'
'Obscured By Clouds'
'The Dark Side Of The Moon'
'Wish You Were Here'
'Animals'
'The Wall'
'The Final Cut'
'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason'
'The Division Bell'

The box set is indeed coming out next December but alas, no rarities to be seen at the moment. The included DVD (no CD) is going to feature interviews and maybe some extras yet not identified. I wouldn't expect anything too surprising though.

Golly, I hope they at least remastered More a bit though.... I cringe every time I hear the mixing on that album, and wonder who I could get master tapes from so *I* can do it myself.

Not sure if they've remastered anything, but there isn't even a DVD now - it's literally JUST the studio albums with reformatted artwork. Sounds like a rip-off.

I guess that's what happens when you announce a box set a month and a half before the release... either way, i wanted to buy ALL of the albums in the neato little mini-LP packaging back when i was in Japan, but didnt have the dough.... so I have pre-ordered my copy.

Maybe they at least adjusted the overall volume of More?! **hopeful**

Sounds also dumb and dull. Highly disappointing way to celebrate a 40th anniversary.
