Unlike some other moderators I have never suffered such a mishap.... I once caught my knob in my zipper during a drunken escapade...hurt like buggery.....and then there was the time in Amsterdam when I...anyhoo..OBC.. where have you been? It was rumoured that you and Martin Jol had eloped, and were last seen frolicking on Southport beach? Any truth in the rumours?

To answer your question..it's sad to say that the man who was once billed as 'the wild man of rock 'n' roll' fell off a pair of stepladders whilst pruning a bush. There's a warning for us all ..never clip a bush..leave it well alone..or at least grip something firmly to stop you from overbalancing.....which brings us back to what happened in Amsterdam.....

Yeah that kinda went bad with Jol after the honeymoon period, started affecting his work. Being honest I think he was seeing Chrissie Hughton behind my back anyway.

I hope you were at least pruning that bush into an amusingly controversial shape, otherwise you've fallen a long way from being the 'the wild man of rock 'n' roll'
