Hmm, Citizen Kane is #2? I'd have expected Brittney Spears or Soulja Boi.

Re: Today's Top Searches

The Pink Floyd box set, I'm sure has "bumped" up the figures on Floyd. I do notice, when you look to see who's online; you can see where alot of search engines bring folks through here. I wil also note, per the bands lack of activity I've come to find this board very slow and quiet after I joined. We got to get these guys to DO something besides finding ways to make money off of stuff they've already sold. I've seen 'em twice, but three would be even beter. Stop being so fuddy duddy, and go make some new tunes with the band, Dave, PLEASE

Re: Today's Top Searches

The board's slowness is really just a reflection of the board, not the band. Back in the heyday of this site, there were hundreds (thousands?) of posts a day, and Pink Floyd wasn't doing anything more than they are now. Granted, virtually none of the discussion was re: Pink Floyd, but that's beside the point.

Yes Gerald theGrouse is right, back in the 'Golden Age' of APFFN, things were fabulous. Nobody worried about Pink Floyd. People would tune in every day, in their thousands I might add, just to see what witty comeback Gerald would have for his arch enemy Dr Cheese (now in a convalescence home in Liverpool). Multitudes would assemble just to find out the latest instalment of APFFN's Australian soap opera 'Down Under Sydney'.Our gun club hosted by Quickdraw Fulghers attracted masses and you couldn't get a seat in our life drawing class run by the resident hottie Pearly . Ah those were the days.....

I'm not really one for 'thing were better back when I was your age' twaddle, but you've got to admit that the board's having an average of like ten posts a day is somewhat less fun than it was a few years ago.

Re: Today's Top Searches

I only check this site but I hardly post anything because there's nothing going on. So if everybody is looking at the site and not posting because there's nothing going on, then nothing is going to happen! If we all try to post at least once on 5 threads a day, or hell even just 1 or 2 threads a day, think of all the activity there will be. Let's try it.
