I remembering reading in a post, someone saying "Run Like Hell" is a terrible song to finish out a PF show. So what do you guys suggest? I think Run Like Hell is a decent enough ending, i mean if i was in the audience i'll be jumping up and down and enjoying the whole spectacle (see Pulse as you all know)
But what do you all reckon??

I reckon Run Like Hell is an EXCELLENT way to end. It's the kind of song that gets people going, even if you're not actually there.

(On pulse it is brilliant live. The music just builds up to an excellent finish that leaves you totally exhilirated. But that's just me, I tend to get really invoved with the music!)

I think that Run Like Hell is an alright closer to a show. I, however, have not seen DSoT, nor Pulse. So this is speaking entirely by...er...thought, not experience. Hmm....*heh* Anyway, I think that something like Dogs would be a great ender, because of several reasons...
It is long,
and it has an excellent finale/ending. The parts at the end that goes, "He was taught not to spit into the fan," and the like, have alot of harmony to them and really click right with my mind, you know? I think that is a rgeat song to finish with...*shrug* (my first post! *heh* Thought I should get involved...:smile

Indeed. I think Fixxy's suggestion is the best so far.

"Comfortably Numb" might make a good finale...but I'm not sure about that.

When I attended ITF in '99, The entire audiences was screaming for Run Like Hell to be the encore. Rog and friends came out and played Comfortably Numb instead. At first I was disappointed (not much of a CN fan) but it turned out to be the best version of CN I ever heard. Two guitarists, very eager and obviously happy to be there. So if I had to pick an encore it would be that version, and that version only, of Comfortably Numb.

Fearless - where the crowd gets to participate in the "Football Match" chanting at the closure.

That'd be incredibly awesome x 5

The tribute band I saw used Confortably Numb as an encore. But I like the idea of ending the show with Echoes.

I'll specify a song from Fixxy's suggestion: Eclipse. It's a great song, very good indeed, and I believe that it can finish any album or show from any band. The lyrics just fit perfectly the end of any situation.

Run Like Hell is a pretty good encore,a nice "rocker" for the crowd to "Jump Like Hell" as in the P.U.L.S.E video.Instead of an encore, how about the best way to START a concert? I think I'll open a thread with this discussion (unless some1 did it already)
