Re: Highlights of '07

I saw Roger Waters live for the second time in my life.
I also went to a superb NIN concert (in hindsight, I think that this concert was better, much more intense, than the Roger Water's one).
I started giving concerts with my new band.

It was one of the best summers I remember (very busy, meeting friends, going a lot of times to the wonderful Catalonian beaches, spending time with my family...).
It was also one of the best years as far as work is concerned.

All in all it was a pretty good year. I hope this one is at least as good as the last one.

I got my driver's license (at my parents' insistence... I didn't want to, lol) and I decided to buy a house, and am in the process of organizing it.

Congratulations on the house - home ownership will change your world.

Re: Highlights of '07

Returning to Breda and getting over my Belgian ex-girlfriend was my highlight. All in all it was a pretty shitty year, this one should be better.

Re: Highlights of '07

In no particular order -

* Successfuly held down a decent job. Haven't killed anyone yet - by omission or comission.
* Realized how little I actually know when it comes to my profession. Applied for advanced certifications. Started looking for better jobs.
* Took my first vaccation in 4 years. Met some old friends (some of 'em I ain't seen in almost 8 years). Felt good to be back amongst familiar company. Finally met my sister-in-law (been married to my brother for almost 3 years!)
* Became a Permanent Resident and acquired the precious "Green Card".
* Bought a saxophone. Busy taking lessons (and annoying the neighbors).
* Bought a new car. Really love the new car.
* Finally saw the Scorpions in concert.
* Saw the Sabres make a decent run in the season and post-season.

I'm sure I'll think of some more...

Re: Highlights of '07

My highlights of '07 were probably:
The 10 concerts I had the chance to see throughout the year, including bands that I've wanted to see for a long time.
Taking up guitar lessons.
Finally meeting a great guy for me.
Having a damn tooth that had been bothering me for the past years pulled out (Being scared to death of the dentist didn't help before).
