Wearing the Inside Out questions

I am working up a version of this acoustic and Ive hit some snags. My voice is really good for this tune and it is such a beautiful piece. First off, I am kind of having trouble developing a strum pattern for it. With most guitar songs I can usually pick up something that comes close . . . but as this is a Rick song it relies upon his gentle organ playing.

Another thing is I dont know what I should do for the transition going into the part where it goes, "Im creeping back to life, nervous system all awry" To me it sounds like a lot of organ playing around the Ab, but Im not sure what.

Thanks for the help!

Re: Wearing the Inside Out questions

I think simple fingerstyle arpeggios a la "If" would be nice for that song. Can't help you with the changes though, I only know four chord positions on the guitar and none of them are in that piece!
