I have to say Fearless, although I also like Wearing the Inside Out.

Oh, RIGHT YOU ARE about "Wearing the Inside Out"! A journey of the soul...so much meaning in shades of tone and subtle dissonances...but in the end, the tentative beating of a human heart that signifies the regaining of hope--not a final healing--BUT HOPE. I feel that, in listening, my battles are understood.

Let's see... "A Pillow of Winds" and "Cirrus Minor" (I don't think CM was ever performed live? Anyone?) I don't have any RoIO's with it on it. I'm sure there are plenty more but I just can't think. What about "Gnome"? That's a cool track.

The Main Theme from More was played live in 1969.

FW-- I wondered why the Floyd skipped WTIO on their '94 tour. Probably because it isn't a stadium rock track like other songs on Division Bell. I could picture the spotlight on Rick only as he plays the keyboard and sings. The other instrumentalists and backup singers are heard but not seen. Then Dave comes out of nowhere and sings the "Look at him now" part. Everyone on stage is together at the end. As for Fearless, my local tribute band performed it in September, and all of us in the crowd knew the words. It worked so well that I never understood why the real deal never performed it on stage.

If I remember correctly, Childhood's End was played live a handful of times in 1973.

My thought, though can be summed up in this way: it was FAR too personal, far too revealing to be aired in that kind of setting, at that time. Maybe later we could end up with a live performance...but during that tour, the timing just wasn't right. |

Or maybe it sucks. j/k My vote would have to go to Fearless as well. And Childhood's End WAS played in 1972 and 73.
