Check this out...IF this is indeed true, we now have the division of Pink Floyd as it probably was meant to be.

First the musician-artisans, now the conceptualist-architects. I personally wonder if this means the end of Pink Floyd as it was once known, because now, to quote Radiohead, I feel this is "everything...in its right place."

The musicians cannot interfere with the lyricists--and the lyricists cannot interfere with the musician. Each side may express their artistic freedom as they see fit. It's not a question of "which one is Pink".

I think Joker Wild has it right in her signature--there were always TWO distinct entities. If one is Pink, the other is Floyd.

It's sad that it had to end up this way, with so much pain in the getting there. But maybe...things may unfold as they should be.

This sounds absolutely fantastic if true. Nick and Roger back together. What will all of us do if Dave and Rick show up as well to surprise the audience? With Nick there it is a distinct posibility. Are the Gorillaz British?

Damon Albarn is the only Gorillaz band member I know of and he is definitely English/British/whatever.

Murdoch is straight From Hell, I believe.

Dear FW,
I would never believe in what I read in the papers.
Thank you for mentioning my signature, I'm proud of it

I am not sure at all if this is true yet.

But anyway, it doesn't seem to me that (if this happens) they are performing as Pink Floyd. That wasn't my impression, anyway.

And you're welcome, JW! It's a good signature.

Yes, but Roger has always maintained that Nick's view on The Split was that, even though he mostly agreed with Waters reasoning, he would continue to stand by Gilmour (in public at least).

He's a smart cookie, if you look at the broader picture.

Cheers,

Mark

ouuuuuuuuuuff!

Last week i've read an article in the german "eclipsed" magazin that said that the PF-members are about to split up (auflösen?) the group and to give the name-rights to Waters (i know, bad english...).
In my opinion, this sounds believable and just suits to the Waters/Mason thing in Glastonbury.

I think, if they really play together in glastonbury, they will perhaps do more together... who knows.
And when Waters gets the right to tour as "Pink Floyd", then, well, whe have a NEW PINK FLOYD consisting of Nick and Roger!!!

Ok, i don't really believe this...

CHEERS,

Sülli

i think id rather see pink floyd as dave nick and rick rather than just roger and nick, gilmour NEEDS to be there, PULSE has proven they can go on with out roger, i havent heard all of INF but i heard wish you were here with rog on vocals and i have to say i am dissapointed.

Sorry... I'd take the current Pink Floyd (Dave, Nick and Rick) over Roger and Nick everyday and twice on Sunday... Without the guitarwork that only Dave can pull off and the great Wright Keyboards, it isn't Pink Floyd... Actually, I liked them better before Roger wrote all the music... IMHO, Fletcher Memorial is THE worst floyd song ever...

To tell the honest truth...musically, even Mr. Wright and Mr. Gilmour can stand together and make a good band. Mr. Waters and Mr. Mason...don't quite cut it, especially (I would imagine) in a live performance. All four together--yes. The current three--yes. The two Musicians--yes. But I personally think that this is really not going to be too stellar in comparison with any of the other combinations I've mentioned.

I agree, but I think we best wait and see what happens. I find this extremely hard to believe.
