Paintbox is one of Pink Floyds most underrated melodies.

Re: Paintbox

everywhere is mentioned how that's the first song where
lyrics were not written by Roger Barret but Wright

well i guess, since it was one of the first LPs, right, it's Syd
but it's kinda different than "previous" lps (AL, CaCB, SEP, AoO)
maybe cause it's Rick's song??!

botley if you couldn't find that...then...sigh...

i'll ask on echoes list, maybe some of those CODs will answer

btw, where did you find that avatar B? it's bloody fantastic

Re: Paintbox

There was an animated gif on "a fleeting glimpse" that I had to compress the hell out of to make my avatar.

Roger wrote a few lyrics on Piper... "doctor doctor," remember all that?

Re: Paintbox

I'll probably catch hell for this but I actually liked "Take up thy stethoscope..."

I dunno why - the music part of it was nice

Re: Paintbox

Gilmour and Wright did a great duet on Echoes. I wish they had done more songs together.
