What is "Rick's Turkish Delight"?

I understand this is some kind of musical sequence he used to play a lot in the early days...why is it called that? Also, can anyone point out an example of "Rick's Turkish Delight" in any studio tracks?

It's on Arnold Layne and Candy & A Currant Bun. Pretty much the same little diddy.

That's what I was wondering if it was--but I wasn't sure. Not to sound stupid...but is that indeed the tune that the band used to tease him for?

It doesn't sound bad at all, of course! But those two sure DO sound similar!

I'm not sure if the band teased him or it was just other people.

I'd have to reread Schaffner to be sure of that. But that's where I first heard the phrase.

I think it's some sort of candy or something sweet. But don't quote me on that.

I think I ate some of that. I'm not sure, but I think I did and was VERY sweet. Whatever that was.
